Good morning from the second and last day of the @SDSC_Tallinn Software Defined Space Conference #SDSC2023 in Tallinn 🇪🇪, the leading space #cybersecurity event in the world!
Let me summarise the highlights in today’s agenda:
Really stoked of being able to meet and talk to Crew5 commander and @ISS_Research astronaut Nicole Mann (@AstroDuke ) today in Tallinn at @lift99tallinn with @esabicestonia @teaduspark
“If you are sending a command to a satellite, for example to switch on a thruster, you want to make sure this command only comes from you”
Clear case for secure satellite communication, by @SkudoTech CEO Stefano Alberico at the @EU4Space#Cassini Entrepreneurship Days.
Mark your calendar for @SDSC_Tallinn, THE space cybersecurity conference, in Estonia 31 Oct-2 Nov 2023!

“What do you need to study to prepare for a career in space?
Anything! Study what you enjoy most and there will be a job in space for you.
Space needs people from all backgrounds.”
Great inspirational speech by @NancySpaceTA at #EUSpace#Cassini today
Exciting time ahead. Testing our #HSM module on the mitySOM board which is installed on the @esa#opssat satellite. Securing the space communication with @CCSDS#SDLS and #PKI
It's that time of the year when you are at #Slush2022 meeting more people than you possibly can. And then you are rewarded with an amazing space cake and astronaut food! Thank you @esabicfinland@esa#SpaceTech#cybersecurity
@InfoSecZ The HSM encrypts any data and being in hardware it is extremely fast (>100 Mbps for a single AES-GCM core). At the moment we work mostly on drone (MAVlink protocol and rtsp) and space communication (ccsds sdls protocol). Do you have your own FPGA chips or you need a ready PCB?
Interesting to see so many different technologies packed in a #cubesat, sometimes it feels it's a real mess ... No major standards to follow and everyone doing its own mix most of the time experimenting at best. #CyberSecurity in #Space is a long way to go ...
Exciting news, this time Skudo is going to further develop and test its hardware-based encryption into space! We signed a new contract with #ESA and we will validate our technology on board of the OPS-SAT satellite. More info: https://t.co/nLRnmG9ZMo
