56 years ago today, Greg, Bob, Mike & Ian held the first rehearsal in the Fulham Palace Rd Café's basement, a venue found by Pete Sinfield, which was King Crimson’s HQ throughout 1969 and during the period that saw the creation of In The Wake Of Poseidon, Lizard, and Islands.
