After such a long time away, dealing with real life and everything that came with it, I finally submitted a fic again.
I'm sooo happy to finally share it.
Thank you to everyone who stayed around. โจ๐

Writing is funโฆ until you start using the same words five times in a paragraph so you look up for synonyms. It gets even harder when English isn't your first language, and suddenly you're just staring at a wall of text wondering if you should even keep going.
If you are an artist, a creative, or doing anything that involves soul, you have to have faith in your audience. You cannot fall into the trap of cynicism or contempt for your audience, where you give the stupid masses what they want even if itโs trite, bad quality, and unaligned with your values. You must resist the temptation to create down to people, to make your work more stupid or digestible. And the funny thing is, if you have unshakeable faith in your audience, they will usually rise up to the standards of what you created for them. It might take time, but eventually you will find yourself a group of people who get it.
