It’s humanly impossible to watch a nuclear meltdown.
But it’s possible to watch a Godi media anchor melt down in real time: brows knotted, lips pursed, eyes widening in disbelief, and hands rising in helpless protest as the carefully constructed fake GDP edifice falls apart on her face.
This is shocking 🤯
Former Finance Secretary Subhash Garg has said that the real GDP is around 2.6% and nowhere close to 7.8% as reports suggest
Journalist tried a lot to downplay him but he didn't take a step back
So a certain Rohit from @ndtv@ndtvindia called me just now. He asked me if I shared this video by taking money.
When I said a clear NO & got angry - this person had the audacity to OFFER MONEY TO ME TO remove the post !!!!
THIS IS THE CHANGE YOU'RE BRINGING @rahulkanwal ???
I am absolutely aghast with the brazenness of this imbecile who called me. He accused me of being a part of a "paid narrative". I mean are you guys blind to not see that you have lifted a campaign to every frame ? Instead of correcting this, you're now calling people to remove posts and casting aspersions on them of being paid? THIS IS CRASS
#CJP #MUMBAI #GenZProtest

I have said this before, and I will say it again: this government has become extremely arrogant. This time, it went too far.
The way students were handled was unacceptable. Yes, political protests can have political motives. Yes, different groups may try to benefit from them. But the students are ordinary people. They were asking a simple question: after so many paper leak controversies, why should the Education Minister not be held accountable? Even if the government believes resignation is not the answer, the least it could do is engage with them, answer their questions, and acknowledge public concerns.
Instead, students were met with force. That is where the government crossed a line.
At the same time, I have almost no sympathy for the leaders of this protest. I support the demand. I do not support the people leading it.
In my view, they called people to the protest but did not stand with them when it mattered most. While students faced the consequences on the ground, the leadership appeared absent. Some were busy with meetings, others were away from the protest site, and some publicly argued that continuing the protest was not their responsibility. If you ask people to join a movement, leadership also means sharing the risks. You cannot disappear when the situation becomes difficult and then claim no accountability.
That is why I have consistently said I support the demand but not the leadership behind it. I do not trust them. I believe many are using this movement as a political launchpad rather than genuinely representing students.
But none of that excuses the government’s response.
The BJP increasingly looks disconnected from the concerns of ordinary people. Whether it is chori in ram mandir, paper leaks, caste issues, ethanol policy, UGC controversies, or the lack of accountability, the pattern is the same: deny, deflect, or remain silent. Even acknowledging mistakes seems too much to ask.
And when students protesting these issues are met with force instead of dialogue, it sends a dangerous message.
Power has a way of creating arrogance. Elections have a way of correcting it. My guess is that the next Uttar Pradesh election will show what happens when governments stop listening to people. For any political party, nothing matters more than elections. Lose that, and arrogance disappears very quickly.
As I have said before, Modi 3.0 is increasingly reminding me of UPA 2.0. Different governments, different circumstances, but a similar sense of complacency and a growing belief that public anger can simply be ignored. We all know how that one ended.

She is Sonakshi Yadav, Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) at Ajmer.
Must be earning between ₹40-60K a month. Being married, her husband probably earns as well. Yet she demands bribes of ₹1,000–₹2,000 from the poor to sanction payments under the PM Awas Yojana.
The ACB Ajmer unit caught her red-handed while accepting a ₹1,000 bribe. The total demand was ₹1,500, the complainant had already paid ₹500 earlier, and she had clearly told him that the remaining amount must be paid to get the Awas Yojana payment approved.
Such a filthy addiction to corruption that people are willing to risk their entire career for just ₹1,000 or ₹2,000. They don’t even spare the poor. Neeche se oopar everyone is shamelessly corrupt.
For the past decade, I’ve been traveling in and out of Mumbai, and Delhi, carrying all sorts of samples, parts from electronics, machine components, tools, small machinery....
I prepare a simple invoice with the true value, am aware of what’s dutiable and happy to pay as per the law.
Guess how many times I’ve been pulled aside by customs in these 10 years? That’s right, a BIG FAT, ZERO.
When I see this vlogger crying about his customs trauma, it raises red flags. Either he is fishing for views and follows, or he got caught trying to sneak in a huge load of dutiable goods.
Don’t buy into the nonsense. It’s simple: when bringing in products, carry an invoice and, if the items aren’t for sale, mark them as “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE.”
Most likely, you’ll breeze right through customs, in the off chance that you do get stopped, know your rights and the applicable duties. Basic online searches will give you the info you need. Be polite, civil, and things will go fine.
If this fellow had an invoice in hand, customs would have most likely had a glance and waved him forward. He probably created a scene for some juicy content.
Dragging our Tiranga into it only makes it sound dodgier. My spider sense says it’s a load of crap. Just follow the rules, be honest, and you’ll be fine.
Dear Simi Garewal,
The moment he abducts you, all this romanticism will evaporate and you would be sitting in Police station crying attempt to rape & slamming the cops if they say "bas apaharan hi to Kiya hai shaadi karna chah raha hai behen"
Ain't no hard feelings for you but you have lost your mind
