@Andreasview2 this is not a translation it's a commentary. the actual verse doesn't mention young age it uses the word for women nd says women who haven't menstruated.this can either mean women who can't menstruate or women who haven't menstruated since the start of divorce, not little girls.

@OlajideParis @Andreasview2 the title of this chapter is the divorce. waiting period is the period of wait in case the woman wants to remarry (iddat). the main purpose is to remove any doubts of the paternity of the child born after divorce. prepubescent girls cant get pregnant.
