also when I learnt Man isn't
always used in the sense of like men but mankind which includes us all. dunno if it's clear but yeahhh Also don't trust every source you see a lot of verses and hadiths need context and interpretations vary regarding some too !!
@Andreasview2 because i can think for myself and know the language enough and nowhere does the verse mention young age. i don't agree with their interpretation. it would be a different matter if the book hadn't explicitly stated nisa (women).
@Andreasview2 relax with the replies neither of us are scholars because that's the name of the book not the man himself. and everything I've said is common sense. you can believe whatever you wish to.
@Andreasview2 this is not a translation it's a commentary. the actual verse doesn't mention young age it uses the word for women nd says women who haven't menstruated.this can either mean women who can't menstruate or women who haven't menstruated since the start of divorce, not little girls.
@OlajideParis@Andreasview2 the title of this chapter is the divorce. waiting period is the period of wait in case the woman wants to remarry (iddat). the main purpose is to remove any doubts of the paternity of the child born after divorce. prepubescent girls cant get pregnant.
@Yash8526 funny thing is the term hindustan has nothing to do with religion. It originated from the persian language and translates to the land of the Indus because of the Indus river not the hindu population.
@niceguyminyoong even if you think they're foolish it's insensitive nd I'm sure the survivors regret it.they didnt expect it cz itaewon has seen bigger crowds without incident. it's onthe govt to not deploy crowd control knowing the capacity expected and the police got warning calls hours before.
@niceguyminyoong here read the first paragraph to understand why your concept of "self responsibility" doesn't work and I hope you stop calling victims foolish when you've suffered no loss.
