Stop trading your time for money.
As simple and clichรฉ as it seems, this statement hits hard like a rock.
I switched to freelancing one year ago.
I thought it was gonna be great.
Don't get me wrong, it is.
But it isn't.
It's like living like an employee, with one difference.
You are much more stressed, much more tired, with much more burn-out sytmptoms, compared to when you were an emplyee.
Why?
Beacause you just swithched boss.
Now it's your clients.
Some of them are great, some of them are not. Fact is, they are there to ask for changes, running against your time.
Just like your boss.
You have one solution. At hand.
Leverage the internet.
That's exactly what will happen next.
I wil start leveranging the internet. I aim at 1,000,000 in the next 12 months. All by myself, and AI agents.
That's the only way out I see in the foreseeable future.
Nothing more, nothing less.
See you here.
I will document this journey, hoping to inspire others.
Thank you for reading.
The biggest problem of them all is that people don't try.
Because they are scared.
Not scared of judgement, or scared of failing.
People are scared of succeeding.
Self-sabotaging makes you hate yourself, and it keeps you away from succeeding.
Let that sink.
There is a moment when you need to understand the following.
This is not some random playing with a platform.
This is not a waste of time.
This is not a game.
This is an actual job, and anactual business.
Which means, you have to learn it.
@IAmAaronWill Agree 100%. Every action determines a reaction. Too much bullshit. I have a rule: I dont go to war unless I feel I want to fight the battle. More often than not, the answer is "No, I don't wanna fight that battle", because the winnings are less tha zero.
AI can spit out your content in seconds.
How about you start talking about real things, such as your personality, your experience, your shit?
That's where you win.
I feel the same sometimes. It all goes down to the price we pay as freelancers/solopreneurs. As much as I love being alone, I incredibly miss the chats with a colleague at the coffee machine. Being alone is part of what we chose to be. Si necesitas ayuda con design, video/fotos, aqui estoy. Have a nice one.
I recently turned down a client after sending them an estimate:
โข Website -> 5500โฌ
โข Social Media MRR (2500โฌ/month)
โข Video / photo: 5500โฌ (one shot)
I started seeing red flags everywhere
You wanna know more?
Stay tuned and I'll get into details.
What would you have done?
