I see nothing wrong with Kim Caldwell’s statements about her team. We’re raising up a generation of entitled basketball players who need a constant pat on the back and lack leadership and accountability. Y’all need to go watch some Bobby Knight pressers🤣
The GREATEST sports parents are those who let the coaches coach, the officials officiate, are their children’s biggest support system, and spend more time and energy focusing on their child’s character, work ethic, and education, than anything else.

Players: the LAST person you should be listening to during a game is your parents in the stands…if they are trying to coach you, telling you to “SHOOT IT,” I would politely ask them to keep quiet or sit in the car. In a game, you should only hear your coaches & your teammates.
The hardest message to get across to some parents is unfortunately the way a player is brought up can determine their basketball success. If they are entitled and not accountable, it will be very difficult for them. They struggle with structure and often lack discipline.
PARENTS!
STOP babying these kids!
HOLD them accountable! Tell them to get their butts in the GYM.
Not playing? Get in the gym.
Not making shots? Get in the gym.
Want more playing time? Get in the gym.
It can’t be the coaches fault EVERY TIME. 🤷🏽♀️
