A major thank you to the @WVUfootball staff, coach Gasper for setting up a great visit, and coach Casteel for talking with the guys on the field before the game. We’re ready for the WVU Prospect Camp this summer!
In Memory of Coach Dawson
The loss of a coach like this leaves an emptiness that words can hardly describe. He devoted his life to helping young people become better football players, but his greatest impact reached far beyond the field. He taught them discipline, accountability, perseverance, respect, and how to carry themselves with character they will take with them long after the final whistle.
To the players he coached, he was more than a coach. He was a mentor, a steady voice, and someone who believed in them, challenged them, and helped them see what they were capable of becoming. The time, care, and commitment he gave to young people will live on in every athlete and person whose life he touched.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, players, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May you find comfort in the countless lives he helped shape and in the lasting legacy he leaves behind. His influence will continue in the way his players lead, in the way they treat others, and in the lessons they pass on to the next generation.
Rest in peace, Coach Dawson. Your work here mattered, and you will never be forgotten.
One of the things I’m most proud of about my son @SNowozeniuk is the way he carries himself. He’s humble, disciplined, and a natural leader. He’s not someone who needs to be the loudest guy in the room or seek attention. He leads by example through his work ethic, his attitude, and the way he treats his teammates. He’s coachable, puts the team first, and understands that leadership is earned through consistency and accountability. He’s the kind of young man who lets his actions speak for him, and I believe those qualities will serve him well both on and off the football field.
