Not every university is willing to rethink how things have always been done.
The Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) Innovation Hub is.
Together, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of, and in the coming weeks, it’ll begin rolling out to more than 45,000 ESUT students.
Innovation isn’t about talking. It’s about deploying.
Excited for what’s ahead.
@uwagideon001@HarryStebbings The reasoning is that sports teams give tech companies access to millions of passionate fans, making them a powerful way to build brand awareness and attract customers.
@uwagideon001 Universities didn’t evolve, they digitized payments and called it innovation. The real upgrade we need is in learning, not just transactions.
It’s about finally bringing visibility
to what actually happens inside classrooms.
The system stayed the same for 30+ years.
That only means one thing:
The shift, when it happens, will be undeniable.
And it has already started.
Since my father’s time in university,
the most important factor in learning — student presence —
has been tracked with pen and paper.
Think about that.
The one signal that tells you who actually showed up to learn
has been treated like an afterthought.
Innovation in universities paused the moment portals could collect fees.
Everything else just… stayed broken.
The biggest upgrade a lot universities made in decades
was making sure fees could be paid online.
Not teaching. Not learning. Not outcomes.
Fee collection.
