STORY TIME: Great Taste Edition ☕️😭

Yesterday, pumunta ako sa isang branch ng Puregold para bumili ng Great Taste Coffee. HALF AN HOUR ang byahe bago ako makarating sa branch na pupuntahan ko. Excited na excited pa naman ako kasi Stell at Pablo ang possible makukuha ko. 🥹💙

Pagdating ko, kumuha agad ako ng 10 packs tapos dumiretso sa cashier.

Cashier: “Ma’am, ang dami pong bumibili nito. Ano pong meron?”
Me: “Chance na makalapit sa mga mahal ko! Hahaha.” 😭😂

Tapos biglang sumingit si Kuya Bagger:

Bagger: “Mga bading naman ’yan!”

Actually, NATIGILAN TALAGA AKO. As an A’TIN na hindi sanay makarinig ng pambabash sa boys nang harapan, parang nag-loading muna utak ko. Narinig ko rin na sinaway siya ng cashier, kaya doon ako nakabalik sa sarili ko.

So I looked at him and said:

Me: “Seriously? Sinabi mo ’yan right in front of my face? Hindi mo alam kung gaano namin kamahal at nirerespeto ang mga ’yan para pagsalitaan mo sila nang ganyan. Kung wala ka namang magandang sasabihin, sana hindi ka na lang nagsalita.”

Then si Cashier:

Cashier: “Ma’am, pasensya na po!”

Me: “Dahil may Great Taste kayong product dito, hindi niyo alam kung ilang A’TIN pa ang makakaharap niyo. Paki-ayos po ang salita niya.”

Hindi naman ako nakipag-away. Nagsalita lang ako dahil mali talaga. Hindi excuse ang pagiging biro, opinyon, o trip lang kung nakakasakit at disrespectful na sa ibang tao.

Pero buti na lang talaga…

PABLO AT STELL ANG NAKUHA KO. 😭💙

Kaya kahit na-imbyerna ako kay Kuya Bagger, medyo nabawasan din ang inis ko.

Kasi at the end of the day, nakuha ko pa din yung photocards na kailangan ko . 😂

Next time, Kuya… kape muna bago salita. Baka kulang ka lang talaga sa meryenda. 🙄☕️

Just a couple of days ago, I asked why we haven’t got a hundred Pablos. Last night, the universe answered as PABLO made history by taking home the Songwriter of the Year award at the 39th @AwitAwards — the very first time this category has ever been awarded in the history of the Philippine Grammys. What an incredibly historic, well-deserved milestone!

But looking at the wider frame, you see his brother, Josue. He was nominated for the exact same prestigious award, and though he didn’t take the trophy home this time, the real magic lies in their bond.

In true Pinuno fashion, Pablo’s immediate response to his historic win was grounded in pure humility. He shared that whenever he creates music, he is always with his brother, constantly bouncing ideas off of him. They are a collaborative force, creating the heartbeat of P-Pop together.
