Nayeon's message for the end of the world tour 🩵
"The long, long one-year tour has come to an end. After such a long tour, I wanted to bring it to a proper close right here, where it all began, so I think I spent these three days feeling more nervous and excited than I ever have on stage.
Although this tour began with equal parts fear and excitement, looking back, I realize how endlessly lacking I was. Yet, thanks to the happy expressions and cheers of the ONCE, and thanks to my reliable support team, who were even more passionate about the stage than I was, I've made it this far.
These were moments that reminded me once again just how grateful and happy I am to be able to stand on such a wonderful stage, dancing and singing the songs I love, surrounded by fans cheering me on so passionately.
I'd like to once again express my gratitude to all the ONCE who came to this tour over the past year, and to all the staff who ran alongside me. Now, I’ll send off the 'this is for' tour well. 🩵"
imo, ukuran sukses idol group tuh gak cuma soal sold out atau chart sesaat. TWICE bisa bertahan selama ini, punya fandom loyal, minim skandal, dan tetap aktif berkarya aja udah nunjukin kalau mereka punya impact dan longevity yang kuat.
When you aren’t looking through a fandom lense you’ll realize that Jace is looking at Rhaenyra, Aemond and Alicent looking at Daemon, Baela is looking at Rhaena, Corlys and Aegon looking at Baela, and none of this actually means anything because they made this last minute💀
TWICE making history as the FIRST and ONLY foreign artist to headline Japan National Stadium with 240,000 fans over 3 days was featured on SBS News today.
Not just in Japan, no one can achieve this anywhere realistically speaking. 80k people each day for 3 days straight doesn’t just randomly show up for anyone.
TWICE's Japan National Stadium concerts drew a record-breaking 80,000 fans per day for a total of 240,000 over three days.
This brings the total attendance in Japan this tour to 640,000 people. (via Oricon)
The story of TWICE's humble beginning :
🧵[A thread]
TWICE debuted at a time when JYPE was on the verge of losing their status in Big3. For that year, JYPE had less profits than Cube.
SIXTEEN didn't perform well. The members had to literally hand out flyers to promote the show.
