Nobody warned me that working a 9–5 basically means never being able to see a doctor, go to the dentist, or handle any appointments because they’re open while you’re at work and closed by the time you get off.
You see how you are now choosing calmness over chaos, and distance over disrespect, prioritizing your mental health, peace, and happiness above all else? Yeah. Very demure. Very mindful.
@Gabbrielxzn It’s like you were forced to grow up early in some ways, then realized adulthood is mostly made-up rules everyone else had more time to practice.
Honestly the woman divorcing her husband for gifting that makeup kit to his co worker is soo valid because the corporate culture has normalised the concept of "work spouses" to a disturbing extent. Adultery is adultery bro
Neurodivergent people don’t need a vacation. They need a day with zero tasks, zero people, and zero expectations and they need it every single week just to stay functional.
telling your brain "i know you don't wanna do the thing and it'll be very uncomfortable for you at first but you can do it buddy. it'll be fine" is actually surprisingly effective. it sounds too simple but that fuckass organ WILL listen to you if you treat it with kindness lol
I need the neurodivergent girls here specifically
Have you ever felt like people loved your energy, the way you think and how you made them feel, but not what it actually took to love you?
Stop treating housekeeping like a punishment. Put on music, light the candles, burn the incense, and romanticize it. You’re not cleaning the house… you’re restoring order to your little kingdom.
So my mom accidentally became a TikTok star at 64 and doesn't know it. My nephew posted a video of her absolutely destroying him at Mario Kart while trash-talking in Cantonese and it got 4 million views. People started animating her quotes. There's merch. Someone made a compilation of her saying "this is why you have no friends" every time she passes him. She thinks TikTok is "the app where teenagers do dances" and has no idea she's a legend. My nephew's been sending her $200 a month as her "cut" but telling her it's from a scholarship he got. She's so proud of him. Meanwhile teenagers at the mall recognize her and ask for photos and she thinks they're just "very friendly young people." Last week someone got "drive better or cry louder" tattooed in Chinese characters and tagged my nephew's account. He's too deep in the lie now. We're all complicit. She asked why so many people smile at her in public lately and we told her she has a "welcoming face."
In an era where real human-made art and animation is at serious risk I beg folks to please support this gorgeously crafted film. Those folks have been through hell to finally get it made and out there and they deserve success.
