@meta
Fucking meta, tell me, WHICH rule did I violate?
Such an explanation can't prove that I have violated the regulations!
Or should I have to find government officials to "be concerned" about this unreasonable review result?

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is facing huge backlash after comments from Senior Vice President Aubrey Quinn.
“We consider it piracy. We have lawsuits.”
Quinn argued that requiring publishers to support private servers after official servers shut down would create legal and safety concerns.
“Those servers could be insecure, they could expose consumers to all kinds of illicit content, including child sexual abuse material.”
In a statement sent to PC Gamer after the hearing, the ESA added: “Private servers infringe on the intellectual property (IP) rights of game publishers. Publishers reserve the right to exercise their rights against them.”
If the KIDS Act H.R. 7757 passes, here is what we are going to get.
> Mandatory age checks for online access
> Government-mandated content safety policies
> Perpetual monitoring of online speech
> Potential censorship of lawful speech
> Restrictions on "addictive" online content
> "Harmful" content is heavily moderated
This is going to lead to a mass chilling effect, not just on controversial "speech" and opinions, but also on lawful adult content. It will lead to data breaches, mass doxxing, and various other privacy issues as well.
Even if it does pass, it won't meaningfully stop minors and kids from accessing content they are not supposed to access, as most are smart enough to find workarounds for it... then...
...this could potentially pave the way towards harsher restrictions on internet privacy, such as outlawing VPNs and encrypted transmission of data.
@zkurishi history repeats itself is true
look at China ten even twenty years ago, they did something similar
now, it is democracy party do it again, but with name of “protection to children”
This is where we currently are in the UK.
You CANNOT turn on advanced data protection on your phones. Apple already disabled that feature.
And now the government demand access to scan and store data from EVERY message, photo, video, email, social media post, every piece of banking information… basically your entire phone usage.
This is reportedly for online child safety, but applies to the entire population.
Make it make sense?!
