Homelander doesn’t go scorched earth a single time and instead gets his ass kicked by Billy despite apparently getting 10x stronger. The fact we never got a Homelander massacre scene will never sit right with me. Ever. I miss Season 1-4 Homelander.

Homelander did absolutely nothing and went out sad. Easily the worst final season and one of the most disappointing finale of all time. No scorched earth. Nothing. Homelander being turned into an immortal and then being killed 2 episodes later is just terrible lazy writing.

All those promotional posters, and everything else teasing chaos and destruction ended up meaning nothing. No full Homelander meltdown, no scorched-earth finale. No nothing. All this incredible build up over the years into the shittiest final season.

Antony Starr's Homelander deserves every award. Give him an Emmy Award, Olympic Gold Medal, a Nobel Peace Prize, a Pulitzer Prize, a Michelin Star idc. The guy is playing the best bad guy on telly for years, by far.
