@56_nightmares It’s funny how the players understand while the fans/twitter freak out and hot take themselves into a frenzy. Not an amazing game but a conference win on Friday night on the road by two TD is way better than the last 20 years.
@tylermilliken_ The bigger issue is Epp telling him not to tag. With 2 out you need to force the issue and make the defense make the play. This time good throw good catch clean tag, but worth the risk.
@tylermilliken_ But I was told by all the fans that as soon as he’s was the everyday shortstop that he would be amazing with the glove and actually start hitting now that he was at his natural position 😂.
@tylermilliken_ Wait till they move him to short and he’s forced to plays everyday because a shortstop platoon is not ideal. Then he will no longer be protected against lefty starters and his numbers will get exponentially worse. We can start with Sale this next series.
@tylermilliken_ Bump. Would have been 0-2 against the lefty starter but for a man on 3rd with less than 2 outs. Uncompetitive 2nd ab. Good luck next series v Sale 😂.
@tylermilliken_ He’s done nothing offensively to be playing everyday at any position much less w/ the pressure at SS. He’s worse this year than last. If he’s playing SS that means his number would likely trend even lower while facing tough lefty starters. Skubal & Fried kill your stats.
@BallParkBuzz Mayer’s career .635 OPS and .596 2026 OPS might have something to do with it. Not to mention he has rarely faced high end lefty starters or relievers making those dismal number inflated. His offensive profile is not that of an everyday player.
@BallParkBuzz Mayer w/ his career OPS of .657. Plus that number is inflated because he has never faced left handed starting pitchers or tough left handed relievers.
@BallParkBuzz How long is Durbin’s leash? He doesn’t have the pedigree to hit under .200 and still start every day. It’s not like he’s Story who has proven track record. Durbin probably had the most starts of any of the position players.
@TolleEnthusiast Mayer hit .200 v spring training pitching and was bad in limited time last year. Let’s not act like they’re sitting an all star on opening day.
@TickPick Use @SeatGeek if you’re going to buy a ticket. It might be a bit more but at least you’ll get your ticket. TickPick may or may not send you your ticket and if they don’t their guarantee is trash as they will blame a 3rd party to deny the claim. Happened to me at the World Series
@PacersWRLD@Brandon_Hubbard@TickPick@CFBKings@SeatGeek Happened to me at the most recent World Series. TickPick doesn’t have a working relationship with Ticketmaster like SeatGeek. Therefore your ticket may or may not be delivered. And if not no refund. Use them tonight at your own risk. Like setting $3k on fire and praying for rain.
@Brandon_Hubbard@TickPick@CFBKings Never ever use @TickPick. It’s a total scam. They will take your money and then not provide the ticket. The guarantee is complete garbage as they will blame a 3 rd party for the non-delivery. Use @SeatGeek even if you have to pay a bit more.
@TickPick@mcuban Never use tickpicks. They will sell you tickets and then not deliver them. Then they will blame 3rd parties so they don’t pay out their guarantee. Complete frauds. Seat Geek is definitely the way.
