I loved Savannah. It had tourists but not an excessive number and they were mostly American, so didn’t disrupt the flow too much. I found this nice English pub below for lunch one day. I thought the barmaid would be more impressed when I proved my age with a British licence but she didn’t seem to care.
Good afternoon from sultry Savannah, GA 🇺🇸 I’ve been wanting to visit here for several years. First impressions of this southern city are good, especially the historic downtown. The trees, Southern Live Oak, are draped in moss and really make the place.
Last month I did a tour of Tajikistan, focusing on old Soviet relics and architecture that remain. A niche subject which I’ve already done in Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, but I enjoy it.
A derelict 70’s era hotel outside Khujand, in the north of Tajikistan. There was some renovation work being done on it so perhaps it’ll be coming back in some way.
Having a one day stopover in Reykjavik 🇮🇸 on my way to the U.S. tomorrow. Have done very little apart from stroll around. The capital is more like a pleasant town. Mostly tourists where I am but very well behaved ones, lots of Asians clad in waterproofs.

Mass immigration does more damage to your nation than being hit with a nuclear bomb.
