We are deeply saddened by the passing of MAK Halliday. We pay tribute to his ground-breaking work, commitment to social justice & generosity as a teacher, mentor and inspiring scholar. We hope to do justice to his legacy & send our thoughts to his family and those close to him.
@zhangdongbing is collecting data for his work in the description of Khorchin Mongolian, a variety spoken in eastern Inner Mongolia. He is currently at Hu Ge Ji Le Tu village. Not even winter cold can beat his dedication to build linguistic knowledge! Best of luck!
