Great to sit in a lecture by 2004 Nobel laureate @FrankWilczek . As a person from the humanities, I couldn’t follow most of the talk, but I always remember how fascinated I was when I read his book Fundamentals.
@Laserhedvig (1/2) Depends on the topic and audience, I think. I did this a couple of times; it worked very well. I didn't have to translate all foreign terms into Chinese that might be confusing, because the audience knew them in English well.
When the autumn sky is clear you can see above your head the three constellations that share a common character (仙 xian: fairly, immortal, celestial being) in their Chinese names: Perseus (英仙 brave immortal), Cassiopeia (仙后 fairy queen), Andromeda (仙女 celestial maiden).
