On Dec 16/21, Ag Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau received a mandate letter from the Prime Minister that included banning exports of horses for slaughter. OVER ONE YEAR LATER AND THIS HAS STILL NOT BEEN IMPLEMENTED - horses continue to be transported by air to Japan for slaughter.
