hearing growing frustrations from leadership on how things are being handled inside clubhouse. lack of initiative from leaders. vets/high paid guys have been called out by craig for not stepping up but thats only gone so far. wouldve hoped last night was the start of something
Leather Jacket Guy seems nice but the fact he’s included here means this is all part of some corporate sales package the Cubs deploy to milk every fucking penny from sponsors because we need to maximize every imaginable source of revenue in order to afford a $65,000,000 left-side of the infield that’s produced a .667 OPS in almost 500 combined plate appearances this season. To be fair though it’s a sharp leather jacket.
Jordan Wicks gets the start tonight with his 16.62 ERA and 5.71 career ERA. He gave up 8 ER in 4.1 IP in his first start. Javier Assad is sitting in Iowa with a 3,61 career ERA and had only given up 1 R in his last 8 IP before being sent down. What am I missing?

Giving away a Kerry Wood signed Red Bill to celebrate the victory! Quote tweet #TeamRedBill to enter. Winner picked tomorrow at 1:20pm central. Must be following to win.
The Cubs might just have to actually fire Craig. I don't know what other levers they have to pull. They dont have any arms. They don't have any bats. They dont have any fucking guts. They need a shake up. Easier to change the manager than the roster.
Just watched Netanyahu’s interview on 60 Minutes and noted how CBS uncharacteristically stated that Hamas’s casualty figures do not distinguish between combatants and civilians and, for the first time, referred to “Hezbollah terrorists” and not Hezbollah militants. Thank you, Bari Weiss.
Just wanted to highlight how ridiculous the 1st inning of Kerry Wood’s 20K masterpiece was:
- 100mph to the umps face to start the game
- What HoFer Craig Biggio called his most embarrassing swing of his career
- Strikes out NL batting leader Derek Bell on possibly the nastiest, definition of fall-off-the-table, curveball you’ve ever seen
- Strikes out HoFer and one of the greatest fastball hitters…on three fastballs.
-Just absolutely disgusting stuff
- Kerry Wood Forever
The #Cubs just got their 24th win of their first 36 games for just the third time in the Live Ball Era (since 1920). The two other seasons: 1969 and the 2016 World Championship season.
@ARizzo44@grandparossy_3 one thing you guys are forgetting is that Michael Martinez came in to game 7 for coco crisp because Jhey stole 2nd an went to 3rd on a wild throw in the top 9th with 1 out. They took crisp out because Martinez had a better arm in RF.
