Wounded himself, this Gurkha went back three times
In September 1915, during the First World War’s Battle of Loos in northern France, Rifleman Kulbir Thapa of the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Queen Alexandra’s Own Gurkha Rifles was wounded behind the German front line. Instead of making straight for safety, he found another badly wounded soldier from the 2nd Leicestershire Regiment and stayed with him.
The position was a terrible one. Thapa and the other man were on the enemy side of the battlefield, separated from friendly troops by trenches, wire and open ground. The wounded Leicester reportedly urged Thapa to save himself.
He did not.
Thapa remained with him through the day and the night. The next morning, mist gave him a narrow chance to move. He took the wounded man through the German wire and left him in comparative safety. The Gazette
That could have been the end of it. Thapa was already hurt, and every return meant crossing ground watched by the enemy.
He went back anyway.
He found a wounded Gurkha and brought him out. Then he returned again for another wounded Gurkha and brought that man out too. Each journey meant voluntarily reversing direction—from safety back towards the German position.
There was still one man left.
By then the mist that had helped earlier had lifted. Thapa went back for the badly wounded Leicester in broad daylight.
He carried him for most of the journey while exposed to enemy fire. The official Victoria Cross citation is strikingly plain about what happened: Thapa had been wounded himself, yet repeatedly returned for other men instead of getting himself clear.
More than 120,000 Gurkhas served during the First World War, including six Gurkha battalions with the Indian Corps in France and Flanders. Thapa’s actions at Fauquissart made him the first Gurkha to receive the Victoria Cross after troops serving the British Crown became eligible for it.

Oh FFS, Jack. It was April fucking 2020. 😂 Those seats weren't “available”—they were intentionally EMPTY for COVID social distancing. The 49-seat briefing room had been reduced to 14 occupied seats, with outlets rotating through them. OANN was part of that rotation. Rion showed up on days OANN didn't have an assigned seat and stood in the back anyway.

And here's the fun part: Trump's own press secretary had publicly applauded the fucking distancing arrangement—then reportedly invited Rion in as her personal guest anyway.

Context. It's amazing what happens when you don't crop that part out.
