Who is responsible for updating the information on the boards to something that least says the flight is "delayed" or to show an updated flight time? Or is it a common practice to leave people clueless and uncertain waiting by the gate?

@EtihadHelp transit flight from Munich, arrived in Abu Dhabi at 6AM & next flight to Jeddah is delayed. Boards have not even been updated with a "delayed" notice 5 hours later!! Horrible airline with not even the simplest type of compensation for all the tired travelers waiting

@EtihadHelp This is my 1st (and last) experience with your airline. Check in staff said we should have used our boarding pass for a complentary breakfast. HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? It is 1:24pm and we still have not taken off
