Last of what I wrote before I had a sudden break down & quit writing has been posted today so I guess I should start writing again. Cant go too long w/out sending a long winded opinion out into the world.
Thread of the that got posted while I was gone will probably come later.
Pride Never Dies. Join us for weekly watch parties celebrating indie filmmakers on the forefront of the Queer Horror revolution. #FrightgownSummer
Begins Wednesday, July 13. https://t.co/pbjxOQBSvJ
Some good ol’ American horror for you on this Independence Day weekend:
• Uncle Sam (1996)
• I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
• Return of the Living Dead (1985)
• Jaws (1975)
The donation link will probably stay open for a few weeks but we've officially raised $5,308 from donations and $2,525 from our @mixtapemassacre shirt/pin sales. For a total of $7,833 raised for @TransLawCenter!! #GaylyHelpful2022
Watch a movie it is. I feel inspired by some recent first time watches to rewatch something I haven’t in a while but should it be...
Sinister in honor of The Black Phone...
Toy Story in honor of Lightyear...
Or the Whitney Houston/Brandy Cinderella in honor of Malcom’s List 🤔
I am begging y’all to realize we are not going to vote our way out of this. They have nothing. They have been briefed over and over and over by legal experts on alternative actions they could take right now. Today. And they still CHOOSE to do nothing.
So in a year where no matter how much I do I seem to continually fail to produce anything final, I have kept up my Gayly Helpful streak.
There is still time to donate for this year! https://t.co/TzJy0BBy9a
Gayly Helpful Year 1! The year was 1987.. er I mean 2019... and all’s we had was Terry’s dream... a dream to raise money and showcase queer talent/ideas
I wrote about Don Mancini and his dedication to the inclusion of queer history in the Chucky Franchise https://t.co/he11VxyYaw
And finally year 4 we have the only writing I’ve completed and turned in this year. I wrote a little about teens being hot for Freddy and a little about what Nightmare 2 meant to me as a teen.

Haven’t been as present as I would like this month with retweeting fundraisers and other pride article cus it’s been a tough and speedy month. But I suppose there is still time to do this!
maybe I'll thread together all my Gayly Helpful articles later. I've managed to participate every year! Which feels like a big accomplishment to me with how much my capacity for writing regularly has diminished since the first year
[Pride 2022] For our second article today, @captainameripug explores the historical significance of Fear Street 1666 with queer erasure! #GaylyHelpful2022 https://t.co/FCe7mtukdJ
[Pride 2022] Just two days left and going out strong. Our first article is from Emma (@kostopolus) who discusses Bioshock's Sander Cohen and queerness in games! #GaylyHelpful2022 https://t.co/9IPfF2sKX1
@TheNeonBanshee Thanks for the info! It’s good to hear there is a potential of it being a simple process even if it isn’t always.
I heard that some doctors require interviews with people who knew you in childhood to diagnose and I know my mom would never recognize the signs I see in my past 🤧
