@turbomander I highly recommend looking at the cyberpunk 2020 rules as well, there’s some cool stuff in there that you can pull over to RED. I’m a huge fan of 2020s damage and armor system, which iirc is watered down a bit for RED.

The montage at the end, the interactions with his parents, they all connote the idea of the ideal American family. I think it’s rather important to consider it in analysis.

Superman is fundamentally an America-centric character, which isn’t inherently negative, but it is something you have to take into consideration when telling stories and talking about them

Even though the actions he takes are “just” actions, he’s still positioned as an American/white savior in context yk

The idea that he’s good because he was raised the good American way by good American parents makes him into a vessel of America if that makes sense
