Q4: I utilize checklists, a lot. I also use calendars and take notes on students to remind myself who I need to meet with and for what. I also do Daily 5 in both reading and Math and I meet with groups continuously

In general, I use the game "Beat the Teacher" and each day students beat me, I have a grid where a reward is chosen and marked off. I also use DOJO and punch cards with that.
Events- we have our party to look forward to this week.

I tell my students that we still all have jobs to do and we have things to accomplish. We have times to be excited about things and will have more time to celebrate when we finish our tasks. My school also does one school spirit day and one day for parties. #nbtchat

I think I always have school spirit. It doesn't take much to get me excited and I participate in school spirit whenever we hold it. At the holiday season, it can sometimes interfere with focus, especially with the little ones already being so excited #nbtchat
