@precious_m_e@dpencilpusher The Nigerian state isn't built for continuity. A single policy change can alter a startup's entire trajectory. Yes, you can still build here, but you need to plan for the possibility of government going rogue. Look at what's happening at MMA airport right now.
I can spend an entire day just using skills for research, docs, breaking down tasks, writing tickets. All before a single line of implementation.
Then a separate skill picks up the artifacts and implements. Planning and building are different jobs. Skills let me treat them that way.
I think we might be overlooking something when Vibe Coding simplifies the idea that building software is just about burning tokens and asking repeatedly until it works. I am not against Vibe Coders, but I do think asking repeatedly cannot replace the years of experience that come with it.
One skill I never skip is โgrill meโ. Itโs no soft landing; itโs straight to the toughest questions about whatever Iโm building or shipping. Itโs the best defence against shipping something that only survived because I never stress-tested it.
Skills are the biggest unlock Iโve found for coding agents, more than any prompt trick.
They encode the stuff normally lost to tribal knowledge: your conventions, your past bugs, your โwe tried that, donโt.โ Thatโs experience transferred into the loop, not repetition.
