Pastor Oyedepo is right. If you want to wear a hijab, attend a Muslim-owned school. You can’t impose Islamic dress codes on a university that is owned, run, and funded by a church.

Right now, no Muslim university in Nigeria can compete with Covenant University. That’s not by chance, it’s the result of years of deliberate, heavy investment in education. Instead of fighting for hijab rights in Christian schools, demand that Muslim leaders and wealthy individuals build universities that can stand on the same level or even higher.

Leave the church to run their schools as they wish, and put the same energy into building your own to the standard you want.
