Now I am on the phone with them again and they are telling me that I need to be an active customer for my phone to unlock.

I have a paid-off phone that is useless because it is SIM locked. How does this get resolved?

@Verizon @VerizonSupport I left Verizon on 6/13 and ported my numbers to a different carrier.

One of my devices did not port. I called support and was told that I had to pay this device off via Verizon Financial to unlock it. I did so on 6/15. (1/?)

@Verizon @VerizonSupport Verizon Financial took an $805 payment and told me it would unlock in 2-3 business days. It did not.

I then called Technical Support, who said they were sorry Financial had told me that, but that the device had been activated 4/21, so I needed to wait until 6/21 and it... (2/?)
