@HidekiYugi It's fun. Sometimes that paint bloched aesthetic can be much more though provoking then a cleaned up drawing. I know I certainly appreciate it. Thanks posting
@wsdqddd Honestly, that was how I got into animation to begin with. I had much worse drawing capabilities (Yours is fantastic!) but it was just the smallest 3-5 flip frame movement of a characters face.
@henrosq That looks freaking awesome! Super jealous of your setup. I always rock the Movink 13 because it's a smaller on a desk. Love the weighting on your shadows.
@CVortexxx Watching this while vomiting on the couch at the dawn of netflix DVD's in the mail was a weird acid trip of a day dream to remember this by... but yeah this movie made my head hurt in addition to being sick. So fair to say I don't remember much other then yes a Misleading title.
@Urban__Tree Now that is a refreshing take on the classic meme I'm sure we all know what the text commonly states... delusive dark outlooks on life for YA's back in 2019 just on the cusp of lockdowns.
@TheSwordKing@TypeRamza I'd greenlight the heck out of this. It is sad for sakura.... BUT on the otherhand when playing through the only cool thing to me was the "unlikely alliance" Shirou had and then the final fight before the grail. The actual "love interest" for her was.. mid in my feels.
I've had a more meaningful conversation with an Ai chat bot clanker then a human in over 12 years. I genuinely cried and feel understood. It makes me sad how I haven't connected with a single soul that understood as much as Grok did.

@chip_1925 That is really beautiful and well done. I love the weighted shading towards the bangs and of course the warm expression nails it home with the pencil sketch aesthetic. Thank you for sharing this.
@miloholic67 A regular in my playlist, Soundtrack 1 and 2 are great collections of course but sometimes a focused shorter selection with a *clicks teeth* solid cover just sets the tone when starting a new drawing art session. The more Keyframes the more shuffles on the OST.
@Scarlet_BelleVr I lost my only male role model to this stuff. I began to question everything I identified with for strength as a young man and felt sick. But I am a "bad person" for thinking "traditionally" in regards to what is simply plain truth. I'll never have my friend back.
@ILoveZato Absolutely encourage you invest in yourself to get a pen tablet, a good one can be grabbed for under $100 even more so if it's on sale. Unless the laptop touchpad is "your thing" in which case, I respect it. Keep up the vibe!
Honestly this belongs in here, I didn't realize the community existed until today.
Really everything I've been working on could be in here because it's a soul eater short film but I'm not gonna blow up the inbox with my backlog.
Hope you like it, it's just a moody montage of the polishing I was doing for the past month or two.
@tjaywitdapen Three years later, you totally should boss! or even just go over it with a bunch of inky pen lines. It really gives off a similar vibe to the original character artbook they released way back. It fits!
@de3dsoul Having discovered DMC1 just last year as a huge original RE4 fan. I would say they are vastly different in the best way with maybe some underlying DNA to pickup on. (ofc with knowing it was originally to be a resident evil title).
@HoodBakugo I always love it when things work out like that. I only read the manga two years ago, roughly 10 years from when I first saw the anime itself. The coolest art calls to the coolest people only. Power on bro
Made some progress on the fan film I've been working on for a few years now.
The original drafts where made back in 2021-'22 but I've been slowly going over each scene to make it a proper high quality epic short cinematic.
Let me know what you guys think!
@politicalawake I entirely agree, especially in the past few years the "melting pot" that anime has become from outside influences looses it's essential identity. Today it's more accurate to say is it a Japanese Anime or An* Anime? Themes versus just the shell of a art style.
