@adrianero17 So from there it kinda clicked for me, I was like wait they are letting thru google so I want to know more and I started researching and found out this little trick that worked on so many sites back then

TB to when a simple chrome extension that would replace your User-Agent with some either internal Admin strings, MJ12 Scraper Agents, GoogleBot, would get you thru the cloudflare hard ban page.

The idea was simple, these sneaker stores needed to be indexed on google and major search engines and with their hard bot protections the scrapers couldn't get the data and index them, so many of them would just allow these scrapers in by checking the User-Agent without verifying the IP range.

I think we ate 2 drops in a row with the same method, eventually some bot sniffed the requests and copied it but it was too late securing 90% of the stock in the final release before Virgil passed away.

We actually found out on a minor site release because it was polish or some shit, they toggled on hard CF 502 ban page for everybody, yet my friend in VC was like "no I actually see the shoe? wtf you talking about?" turns out the dude was browsing the site thru google translate...
