I am FAR from perfect on this, but asking our 3 year old to use his words instead of his body to describe his feelings has prevented so many power struggles with a toddler. Kids NEED to know adults feel the same feelings they do. It both validates and empowers them.

If Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr put out a joint statement on Braves letterhead saying they would refuse to play an all star or postseason game in Atlanta until Georgia fixes their anti-democracy “voting” bill I’d bet we see quality change real quick.

@VeersWatch Pro tip, get a bowl(s) for your pieces. If you’re a sort ‘em all out kinda guy you can use a bunch of smaller bowls (probably of the disposable variety). Otherwise a big ol mixing bowl for all the big stuff plus one small bowl for the little stuff will prevent floor searches 🙃

@CharlesHarrisI3 For me it’s building lego sets (expensive coping mechanism, I know 😅) but the reason is it helps me find “joyful focus”. An activity that lets you get in your flow state while making you happy is of immense value
