This response feels quite disingenuous. When I have received surveys from Southwest over the past couple of years, the questions weren’t along the lines of, “Do you want assigned seating?”. They were, “What arrangement and price range are you willing to pay for assigned seating?” It was a foregone conclusion. I have provided Southwest with feedback directly since Elliott took over, and all of the responses have been like this, but your actions speak much louder. You can also put me in the camp of, “Why should I fly with you since you have chosen to be indistinguishable from other airlines other than not actually providing first class?” And I’ll gladly point out that much of your pricing is equivalent to first class pricing from other airlines for the same routes, so I’m literally pay more for less.
