I am a small storm; raging here with the debris of overwhelming years, clapping there with the echoes of uncertainty. It is a voyage of many speculations. Many twists and turns. Some days beautiful, other days, grueling.
@ariyodiamond@IgboHistoFacts I cannot see Keshi's photograph and not be reminded of his open arms to the home-based players who later handed him the AFCON trophy as a coach, after winning it as a player. The duo of Omeruo and Oboabona in that defense. Twelve years have passed. 12.
@27thguyyy My bag. Night class. We used to call it TDB. That bag had a handful of identity cards, toothbrushes, shoe polish, clothes, scraps of paper scribbled with sad poem drafts, etc. I used to live in that bag, to be close to the truth. It was a huge loss. It still is.
@Adhekunbi That our parents are big time traitors for hiding the truth about life from us. The things they experienced, how those things shaped their lives. They failed to tell us that there will be beautiful days but that those days would not be easy to keep within our reach always.
@phspecials take the time to observe how the road fringes those terrific chairs, and how the chairs, full of the resplendence of giving, cast the beauties that they have received out in the form of shadows, as if passing the legacies onto those whose hearts are empty and desirous.
@FisayoDairo Wise decision for the ref to take. Our only saving grace has been Gabon's lack of ambition so far. I am surprised that we have yet to put one past them.
@Dostoevskyquot That people will always fail to see things through the lens of rationality. That the first to speak before an arbiter has nearly all the advantage of a fair hearing.
