@LifeofaWave @Gideoomatic MLS has there own academy teams for the most part (not sure if they all do) and those teams play in a MLSNext. Short answer is no they don't fund smaller local teams or leagues. NJ has 1 MLS team they would have to fund multiple local leagues

@OliTN99 @Gideoomatic Besides the USL you really still need to get drafted in the MLS super draft and for that you have to play college. That draft only has 90 picks at that lol If you don't play college you have to play in another league and get found

@Picasso67676767 @Gideoomatic most areas will have a local league or some will call it a rec league. The issue is that people treat those leagues like they don't count (really kind of classist) when in reality there are a ton of solid players who just don't have big money
