During COVID Lockdown she was working with a Org 'Roti Bank of Banda’.
During this time she came in touch with Uzair.

Shahzadi, when she was a child suffered severe burn injury. Uzair offered her a better future, better job including better medical treatment of her burn injury.

Shahzadi Khan, travelled to Abu Dhabi in December 2021 on a legal visa. Landing there she found Uzair sold her to a married couple (Faiz and Nadia) as a bonded labourer.

She was responsible to caretaking her Master's child born in August 2023. On 7th December, 2022 the infant had routine vaccination but tragically passed away in the evening.

The child's parents declined to post-mortem their child. Shahzadi later insisted the child was having fever before receiving vaccine.

In February 2023 Shahzadi appeared in a video and confessed the Crime which in later she and her father vehemently said her employer tortured her to obtain this confession.

However she was arrested and sentenced to death 31st July 2023. Her appeal was rejected in Sept 2023, and her death sentence was reaffirmed on February 28, 2024.

On 11/07/2024 her father submitted a mercy petition to the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi but received no response. 

Her father said on 14 Feb Shahzadi had called the family from the prison saying that she would be executed in a day or two and this would be her last call. Since then, they were unaware of her well-being.

Following this her father Shabbir Khan, a farmer by profession sent repeated application to MEA seeking to know her status but had zero output.
Finally he had to file plea seeking directions for the Centre to determine his daughter’s legal status.

MEA today informed the court she was executed on 15th Feb i.e the day after Shahzadi made her last call to her father.
Couldn't the MEA inform it to her father directly? Wasn't it under their duty? 15 days the parents were unaware about their daughter's fate.

You don't have balls to rescue her from bonded slavery in a foreign state.

You can't give her adequate legal support trapped in a false case.

You represent a country with 18% of the world's population, yet you lack the ability to influence the political class of a country just 0.14% population of world. But yes they can as I still remember few years back how these middle east countries twisted your arms so swiftly resulting Nupur Fringe Sharma's departure from politics.

And finally after this exhibition of complete failure; you hide the information of her death from her parents!

I saw a metro fight yesterday.

The husband of a pregnant lady asked the guy with sportsgear and luggage to give up his seat for her. He humbly requested that he should ask the seats labelled for ladies or old/in need ones for that as he needs to go 25 stations. Moreover, his seat wasn’t labelled with any type. The husband started shaming him for being insensitive and they had an ugly fight.

People willingly gave their seats to his wife and asked him to not fight but it went on to ‘bahar mil’

I think one thing we need to have is to request people for giving their seats but if they aren’t willing to just move on and find someone else who would be willing to do so. However, insensitive it is, people aren’t obliged to do so unless they are occupying the reserved seats.

I myself gave up my unreserved seat to two older women without their asking. Just find the people okay with that, instead of fighting and forcing people to oblige.
