To be fair, Twitter is much more of a town square, as Elon intended it to be, credit where it’s due. But the replies are its Achilles’ heel. Fix this stupid problem once and for all and let us enjoy X in all its glory, mfers.

Twitter has a bot problem that Reddit just doesn’t have. I’ve used both, and the problem isn’t the posts.. it’s the fucking replies. Every remotely viral tweet gets swarmed by completely unrelated bot comments.

I don’t know if it’s the whole “reply as a post” mechanic or some other toxic engagement-farming shit that’s been around since pre-Elon, but it turns every comment section into a landfill. It completely buries actual conversation.
@MilkRoadAI@DavidSacks Can Jake just STFU for a minute? He has nothing to add and keeps inserting himself into other people’s points. Every time someone is building toward something interesting, he jumps in with useless noise and sucks all the momentum out of the conversation.
@rammaree@Angaisb_ Every knowledge based job is just documents + workflows + AI now. Claude Code is the Trojan horse. Soon we’ll have Claude Lawyer etc.
@thsottiaux This is just aesthetics but would be great:
1.A thin divider between code output and the input box would make reading way easier.
2.The second counter keeps ticking with no clue what’s happening sometimes. A few times I thought it was stuck but it was actually cooking.
