Travelers Take Note: SA Cash Limit Increased

Previously, you were only allowed to carry R25,000 in South African bank notes when entering or leaving the country.

That limit has now been increased to R100,000, according to National Treasury.

The adjustment is aimed at maintaining purchasing power for travellers, especially given inflation and rising travel costs.
