We built Slider House Racing because following Dirt Late Model racing shouldn’t be this damn hard.
No more fragmented data. No more bouncing from one series to another trying to piece together what’s happening.
One home for Dirt Late Model racing.
Better curated data. Driver ratings and world rankings. Dirt Late Model fantasy. A connected Discord where fans and drivers are actually part of the conversation.
All of it built from the ground up specifically for this sport.
We’re not trying to become another racing news site.
We’re building a place to follow the sport, argue about it, compete, talk a little shit, and enjoy Dirt Late Model racing with the people who love it as much as you do.
That’s Slider House Racing. 🏁
Eh. Mahomes is situationally great. That’s undeniable. And I do think he plays smarter than Allen. But it’s also easier to play that way when you know you’re probably getting another opportunity if you don’t come through—or your team can come through for you, like Sunday.
Football is the ultimate team sport. Mahomes has the best head coach in football, great defenses, elite special teams, etc. He deserves all the credit for how often he comes through in big moments, but their situations just aren’t the same.
Going into the review I didn’t think it was a fumble. After the replay, I still didn’t think it was a fumble. But after hearing the explanation, it made sense. I didn’t know the wrist was considered part of the hand under the rule either. I was as shocked as anyone, but if that’s the rule, the ball definitely comes free when his wrist hits the ground—not his elbow or forearm. 🤷♂️
FTF, one of the biggest contributors to the national sports conversation, dedicated multiple segments of today’s show to making sure everyone knew how badly Josh Allen played (and he did). So it’ll be pretty funny in the coming weeks when they’re right back to beating the drum that Josh Allen somehow doesn’t get criticized for bad performances, while Nick Wright’s X army continues insisting the exact same thing.
Who threw a temper tantrum? Nowhere in that post did you simply say Brock Purdy didn’t play well. You cherry-picked a split where half the stat line looks bad and the other half looks great, then implied the good half only happened because Surtain left. That’s a very different argument.
At this point it’s pretty obvious you’re trolling for engagement, and I’m done giving it to you. So no need to respond. I’ll just assume it would’ve been as ridiculous as the rest of your takes.
@TylerCLaRocca Freelance media has its perks. Guys like this learn the same lesson CNN and Fox did a long time ago: negativity gets clicks, and clicks make money. Just don’t confuse engagement farming with objective media or genuine fandom. They’re loyal to one thing—the dollar.
@TylerCLaRocca@TravisMangini But you didn’t just say he played bad in one game. The full-game stats make that argument pretty hard to make. You cherry-picked a split from one game because you’re so determined to hate on him that you had to find a way to make a good game look bad.
@EverythingBoxi2 This is a microcosm of why so many big fights in boxing never happen when they should. There’s a massive payday sitting there and one side was absolutely willing to blow it up over petty shit.
I think you’ve got this a little backwards, so let me break down this apparently complicated interaction for you:
Person 1 makes a reasonable observation about a football play.
Person 2 responds like a smartass.
Person 1 responds in kind.
Person 2 then plays the “why are you talking shit?” card.
Hope that clears it up.
@SwagCarrigg@MikeGarafolo@mattbarrows Wouldn’t you know it, another anonymous account hiding behind somebody else’s picture with the maturity level of a teenager.
