1- Ennahdha Party and its allies failed to call for demonstration against the so-called "coup". The number of people they gathered is unparalleled to the masses supporting the president.

@YeanurRahmann @EliziaVolkmann @SecBlinken It wouldn't guarantee it. But, I think that the current system didn't leave with any other options for change. Besides, in 2011 the regime supporters had a similar narrative about the revolution and considered it a coup and a foreign conspiracy.

@EliziaVolkmann @SecBlinken I don't fully support KS decisions, however, I believe that a constitution and a political system is considered legitimate and truly democratic only if it's accepted by the majority, which is not obviously the case in Tunisia(riots, low vote turnout and polls results prove that)

Is what's happening unconstitutional ? Probably. I'm not an expert. However, the number of people I've seen today celebrating in my hometown (where the islamists have won every election since 2011) despite the curfew makes me reject the coup label. #Tunisia

@navidjaaan Tunisian military is neutral when it comes to politics, it has always been the case. What's happening now is maybe unconstitutional and exceptional, and so is the whole situation in the country. We shall also keep in mind that the president was democratically elected.
