😌 This is what the healthcare system in Nigeria looks like, underfunded, understaffed, and overwhelmed. Hospitals without medicine. Clinics without doctors. Mothers dying in childbirth. Children dying from preventable diseases. A system so broken that even the wealthy fly to South Africa, the UK, or India for treatment, while the poor are left to suffer. Yet Nigerians come to South Africa and demand free healthcare, as if we are obligated to fix what their own leaders have destroyed. We are not their safety net. We are not their cure. We are not their solution. Fix your own healthcare system. Then talk to us about solidarity. Until then, we will not be gaslit into carrying a burden that is not ours.
