@FleetwoodAnn @HeroesUnbound @hankgreen Not trying to do a gotcha or anything. When I studied psycholinguistics, the idea of pre-verbal conceptualization really went against how I assumed thinking worked, so I’m excited to see tweets about it.

@hankgreen The cognitive science on this is pretty clearly on Hank’s side! I think the language is so *present* that it’s hard for a lot of us to recognize the level of conscious thought that lies just below it. I really resisted this idea in a cognitive linguistics class but was convinced.
