[Slime Break @SlimeBreakGame]

The horde broke both ends of my wooden wall.

Now it's eating its way to the middle, and the machine guns go down with it, one by one.

@DeftMenaceGames Pretty much! It held a bit longer than I expected, but once the first section broke

[Slime Break @SlimeBreakGame]

"This will hold."

One wooden wall, one floor high, against 1,600 slimes. It held for about ten seconds.

Balanced.

One tiny slime against a wall of level III towers. One Tesla bolt and it's over. It dropped a single gold coin.

Oil + flamethrower is the biggest explosion in my game.

Slimes walk into the oil, the flame reaches them, everything goes up at once. It also took out my oil tower and both flamethrowers. Worth it.

My flamethrower set the forest on fire. Then it started raining.

Rain stops fire from jumping tree to tree. The ones already burning burn out, the rest of the grove survives. Without rain, almost nothing is left.

Two flamethrowers on a stone wall, wave 6.

The flame burns whatever it touches, and the slimes that catch fire keep burning as they walk.

Towers don't only go on top of the wall.

A wall two blocks high can take a machine gun inside its face. It fires through the slit, point blank, right where the horde piles up.

One key tilts the camera into a top-down tactical view.

You get the build grid and the height of every wall block, and the fight keeps going underneath.

New enemy: the mole slime.

It digs in before your wall, tunnels under it and pops out on the other side. Then the horde follows it through the hole.

Iron walls stop it. Wood and stone don't.

Balloon slimes fly over your walls.

With the Storm card, the Tesla's lightning jumps from balloon to balloon without using up its jumps. One zap hits 19 slimes instead of 4.

@Satior420 I’m designing the slimes to merge into bigger ones, but I need to be careful not to lose the swarm feeling. Right now, they merge so much that eventually only a few huge slimes are left

[Slime Break @SlimeBreakGame]

I wanted to film the horde climbing a stone wall.

It melted instead. Slimes that slam into stone too hard take crush damage, and thousands died in under a second.

Should crushed slimes die?

Every hit on the Colossus lands a heavy thud, a ring of goo and a bigger damage number. At 2/3 and 1/3 health it cracks.

200 balloon slimes, and nothing shooting at them.

This is what reaches your portal if you don't build anything that shoots up.

Two cards, both with a catch.

Swarm: twice the slimes, half the health each.
Glass: towers deal double damage, walls get half their health.

Take both and every bullet kills. The wall still falls.

One spark, and the horde blows up in chains.

The Fuse card: when an oily slime explodes, every oily slime next to it explodes too.
Same horde without the card: 81 slimes. With it: 785.

Wave 5 boss: The Buried One.

It bursts out of the ground, flattens every wall in its way, its eyes turn red when it's almost dead, and when it finally dies it blows up the towers around it.
