@zachhomol_ I get a lot of lower back pain, likely due to things entirely my own fault.
I’ve found that ~15min with an ice pack 2-3x a week works wonders to PREVENT the pain.
Being proactive, rather than reactive, has changed everything.
Now if I could just prioritize my posture 😂
Excited to jump into this book prior to work this morning!
I’ve done over 1,000 (and climbing) miles on my stationary bike this year. It was a CHALLENGE I set for myself. Having a GOAL has pushed me farther than I’ve ever been without one!
#WednesdayMotivation#FitnessGoals
@jackdcoulson I challenged myself to ride my stationary bike 2,024 miles this year. I’m ahead of schedule, and love that.
But my weight has basically stayed the same. Over 1,000 miles so far, and weight is primarily static.
There’s a larger commitment to weight training in my future.
@ifixhearts Prioritizing cardiovascular activity this year has been HUGE for me. I’ve had to make changes to my work routine to accommodate, but worth the effort.
~50 miles a week on my stationary bike has lead to better energy, WAY better sleep, better mood, etc
@CaryKelly11 On the stove in a skillet. Season the skin with salt, pepper, paprika.
Cook skin side down, 7-8min on medium-high. Flip and cook ~90 seconds. Flip back, cook skin side down for ~30 seconds.
Service skin side up. The skin will be crispy and fall right off the flesh. Delicious.
Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve posted.
Since I’ve been gone I’ve:
-Celebrated a year since my #HeartAttack in April
-Completed more than 1,000 miles (and counting) on my stationary bike
-Started a new role at work
Life is a journey!

As I got loopy while going under for my angioplasty, this song from @jimmybuffett was running through my mind.
True to the lyrics, I made it through a #heartattack with a mere 12% survival rate.
Too much life left too live. Too much fight left in me.
