I am writing to express my OUTRAGE and disgust at the appalling level of incompetence displayed by your bank in handling the fraudulent activity on my account. It's been 13 days since I was scammed of 4.1 million naira, and despite my prior warnings and efforts to protect my account, your bank's negligence has led to this devastating loss.
Let me remind you that this is not the first time I've been a victim of fraud with your bank. In July 2025, I was scammed of 45,000 naira via USSD due to MTN selling my registered mobile number. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I was met with indifference and no refund.
On December 24th, I emailed your bank warning of potential fraud, citing suspicious emails, and requested that my account be protected. But your team failed to act, and the old number, which I had instructed to be deactivated, was still active, allowing the scammers to drain my account.
Your team's response is a joke - claiming I'm liable because the transactions came from my registered mobile, which YOU FAILED TO DEACTIVATE despite my instructions. This is unacceptable. I demand immediate refund of my stolen funds.
I've tried to follow the process, but it's clear that your bank is more interested in shifting blame than taking responsibility. I'm left with no choice but to escalate this matter further.
REFUND MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY.
