This is a very confusing picture and I dearly hope that the course maps are not derived from it, so the runners will find their way to the finish line.
#LondonMarathon@TerribleMaps
@secchi62@airlavillenie Does this count all performances or only the best performance of an event? So does this include e.g. Duplantis' 6.07 at the All Star Perche or just his WR?
@albertostretti@germanroadraces wrote that 5k world record for men would be any time faster than 13:42 - which probably refers to the 5k intermediate time of the race in Valencia (13:43, which is the fastest time of the year according to Tilastopaja). https://t.co/l8s0cVlasu
@KKenNakamura Fun fact: The three fastest times by Ethiopian women were not fast enough to win the race: Degefa, Dibaba and Aga (Berlin 2018) were all 2nd.
The more sophisticated version for British music fans is:
"So we call this a kilogram and lighter things we measure in grams."
- "I have a better ..."
"Shut up, Mick." https://t.co/jBwOKDv6rD
@KKenNakamura This is already 3 more sub-2:05 runners than last year, and the same number of sub-2:05 runners as two years ago. 5 more runners need to run that fast to set new record (current is 11 runners in 2012).

@KKenNakamura In Germany, high-speed trains have a few no-cell-phone carriages. Compares to the situation a few decades ago whith no-smoking carriages.
