@JDBunkis I am not saying a cap is the only answer, but there has to be a mechanism to keep teams without as many fans or as much money on semi equal footing. It was very bleak for non-Leafs Canadian teams in the late nineties. Largely why we lost the Jets, Nordiques and Expos.
I haven't seen anyone tracking all of the alleged (or open) Trump corruption, self-dealing, and quid pro quos in one place. For the last 15 months, I've been tracking every single tip+story I can find and organizing it. Today, I published a 6,000 word piece with every example.
@cullenoncurling I’m interested in how players are picked and for which teams. I’m sure there are a lot of factors that make it difficult to go into detail, but how does someone like Benoit get left off the original rosters?

Even if the "ceasefire" Trump announced does bring about the cessation of hostilities -- very much in doubt at this point -- the idea that he would be showered with credit as a "peacemaker" for halting a war *he instigated* and then directly participated in is an absolute joke
@cullenoncurling This certainly looks intentional, but what was the sweeper trying to do? He was sweeping to hold it straight and then pulled the rock in. How does he know that would help? I’m just trying to understand it

Northern Exposure: Nunavut returns to the 2025 Scotties - "It's about representation and learning what your best is. That's the goal. Figuring out how far we can go and how we can improve. The team is putting in that work." - My story: https://t.co/qVcNFBAFH0 #curling
