Myocardial infarctions in women do not always have classical presentations & symptoms. The case of a 60-year-old woman who presented to ER with abdominal pain, nausea & vomiting & ECG findings that didn't meet STEMI criteria. She developed tachycardia. However, careful analysis of a series of subsequent ECGs & coronary angiography revealed large right coronary artery thrombotic occlusion with transmural ischemia that was opened & resolved with cardiological interventions that saved her life.
