Every Monday is a virtual day & I keep it asynchronous. It gives time to provide feedback, plan, & attend meetings. Ss are in the building T-F, with some Zooming in. I could use an asynchronous day the rest of my career—I can accomplish so much during contracted hours now.
Weak leaders believe people work for them. Good leaders believe people work with them. Great leaders believe they work for people. Especially in crisis, we depend on great leaders to lead with humility and honesty, while putting others first.
I do not know who needs to hear this as we approach our final months of this school year. If we want to see an increase in student achievement. As educators, we MUST do the "heartwork" before we can do the "hardwork". Student's have to believe in your belief in them first!
