God, I pray for Damar Hamlin and his health.
God, I pray for his family, friends, and teammates. Give them peace.
God, I pray for the healthcare providers. Give them wisdom and understanding as they work to save his life.
Move as only you can move, God.
@g_willi33 You should read East of Eden when you have a chance. Easily my favorite Steinbeck. Definitely prefer it over Grapes of Wrath. Of Mice and Men just makes me sad. Lol
@_Cainer I’m understanding of the decision. Tradition is important; however, the field serves as a football field and a soccer pitch. It makes sense to accommodate both.
My uncle Joey was not only a one-of-kind baseball coach, but also a tremendous man of character. Though he will be missed, his legacy lives on through those he most loved: his family and his players.
One of the best baseball minds I have ever known is now no longer with us. On top of that, he was also one of the best men I have met in the life. Please send prayers up for his family. He was definitely one of a kind!
Rick Barnes, asked what he is thankful for this week: “I’m thankful that last night I was able to go over to Sevier Heights and watch two of our players get baptized last night.”
I have grown tired of the argument that one’s profession disqualifies his or her position. America is best when all voices have a chance to he heard, especially on important issues such as this. #FreedomOfSpeech
Congratulations to @Yassin_Falafel - a welcoming cornerstone and popular meeting spot. Today it’s official: Yassin’s is Good Morning America’s Nicest Place in America!
@_bradmiller I do it periodically when I feel like I need a reset. Its refreshing to break away from my phone and spend that time either reading or journaling.
@_bradmiller Both, but it was a much needed retreat. It forced me to acknowledge how deeply engrained busyness and technology have both become in my daily rhythm.
@mkvandergriff I’m all for “like what ya like” for hobbies, but you’re right. There’s no relation between two. There’s plenty that can go wrong the other way. Video games can take away valuable time for relationships, community, work, and self-care.
