I still do not understand why, in the American healthcare system, when a doctor orders a prescription, he cannot give you the medicine directly. You must instead stand in line for 45 minutes at a pharmacy several days later to get it.

And who is to say they won’t do W3 style lines where you still make choices in dialogue? Saying nothing mattered is a bit steep 🤷‍♀️ but that’s just me

For a pharmacist to be licensed in most states, 1500-2000 hours are required, PLUS a doctorate (6-8 years of higher ed) AND a board exam PLUS a law exam for each state of licensure. Techs are vital to pharmacy, but I know the tech mistakes I catch daily, and they are dangerous.

@b_ink I was always the yes girl in my market for literally everything extra. Left the company for a couple years and came back and am feeling the exact same way and it’s amazing how that “oh she picks up the extra” reputation never leaves you either when everyone calls you 😭

Student debt relief is the one topic I am always annoyed about as a liberal. What is a small amount of debt relief supposed to do for current students? What is it supposed to do for grad student loans? Why can’t we focus on tuition cost and interest rates to go down instead?
